Welcome!
This is the fanlistings collective of two brothers Adrian and Sebastian. Please browse the site to learn more about fanlistings and the kids, and leave a comment if you have any questions or simply want to say hello!
For those of you unfamiliar with the concept of fanlistings, they are primarily a fun online hobby of showing off your interests - whether you run fanlistings yourself, or simply join them. Having a “joined” section at your website, displaying different fanlistings’ link buttons, is a neat way of showing your visitors what your favorite subjects are! At our collective, you will be able to join a few fanlistings that all are special to our two boys.
TheFanlistings.org is a huge network with more than 35.000 registered fanlistings. Knowing that only one fanlisting for each subject gets listed there, you soon realize that there is a fanlisting “out there” for nearly any subject imaginable. There is also a seperate network for subjects related to Japanese culture, more specifically anime (animated film) and manga (comic books), and we have a few fanlistings listed there as well - Pokemon themed ones, of course..!
The adoption post from earlier this week is now no longer valid; all the relevant fanlistings have either been adopted out or closed. Adrian convinced me to keep three; the ones for Crocodilians, Groudon and Cartoon Network - meaning those are no longer up for taking. Thank you to everyone who applied, you should all have heard from us by now! I am expecting to make another post within the next two weeks, with the new locations for the fanlistings that were adopted out.
I’ve added some extras to the Pokemon series fanlisting, and will work on adding several skins to it over the next couple of weeks, using the layouts from those fanlistings that have been adopted out/closed.
Final update: the MONSTER! directory has been closed. We have not been able to find a simple yet secure directory script to replace the modified PHPFanBase that was used originally, and after nearly two years’ hiatus the only right thing to do was to close it. Feel free to remove any links back.

Almost all of our fanlistings are going up for adoption, please see this page for the complete list. A decision will be reached this Friday (Jan 11). Those with no takers will be closed, so please do no hesitate if there are any fanlistings you’d want. Apply to admin@whoa-cool.net, providing the URL to your collective or a fanlisting sample of yours.

We just received this beautiful graphic from an affiliate of two of our fanlistings, Désirée of the Hunchback of NotreDame fansite.
Thank you so much, Désirée! Click the graphic to visit her site!
One of our fanlistings, the one for author Tove Jansson, has been closed. Please get in touch if you are starting one for her, we can provide you with a backup of the members plus link buttons. Another fanlisting has been adopted out, the fanlisting for Geckos is now with Marieke.
Christmas so far has been fun for the kids, despite the lack of snow and the fact that the Christmassy frost melted away the day before Santa visited.. Both kids got a Nintendo DS Lite, and Adrian got Pokemon Diamond as his first game. Yay for more ways to have fun with Pokemon!

We are huge Pokemon fans, about a third of our owned fanlistings are Pokemon themed and located on a separate domain; pokemonfan.org. This month our mum ordered us some really neat figures from gin, an american girl living in Japan, and we received a parcel from her only days later - with awesome drawings on it and Pockys for our mum included! You can see our Pokemon collection at flickr; we will add pictures of our newest figures tomorrow!
